We are pleased to inform you that the RfB is expanding its external quality assurance offer in laboratory medicine. In March 2026, we will offer you a pilot EQA scheme for the determination of diabetes autoantibodies (DiabAK) in lyophilized human serum/plasma.
Analytes of the pilot EQA scheme:
- anti-ICA islet cells
- anti-glutamate decarboxylase (GAD)
- anti-tyrosine phosphatase (IA2)
- anti-zinc transporter 8 (ZnT8A)
- anti-insulin (IAA)
Participation in this pilot EQA scheme is free of charge for registered participants. Only shipping costs will be charged according to the shipping price list. You can register via your participant account at www.rfb.bio. The number of participants is limited to 30, and places will be allocated in the order in which registrations are received. After the registration deadline, you will be notified whether you can take part in the pilot EQA scheme.
