We are pleased to inform you that the RfB is expanding its external quality assurance offer in laboratory medicine. In July 2026, we will be offering a pilot EQA scheme for immunohematology for automated systems with antibody differentiation in whole blood (IA-Diff).
Analytes of the pilot EQA scheme:
- AB0 characteristic (blood group)
- A subgroups
- Rhesus factor (D antigen)
- Rhesus characteristics (Rh phenotype)
- Cw antigen
- Kell antigen
- Direct Coombs test
- Antibody screening test
- Antibody differentiation (NEW)
- Antibody titer (NEW)
Participation in this pilot EQA scheme is free of charge for registered participants. Only shipping costs will be charged according to the shipping price list. You can register via your participant account at www.rfb.bio. The number of participants is limited to 55, and places will be allocated in the order in which registrations are received. After the registration deadline, you will be notified whether you can take part in the pilot EQA scheme.
