We are pleased to inform you that RfB is expanding its portfolio of external quality assessment (EQA) schemes in laboratory medicine. Following the successful pilot EQA scheme conducted in May 2026, the EQA scheme for the multiplex-based detection of pathogens (bacteria/viruses/yeasts) associated with meningitis and encephalitis will now become a permanent part of our EQA programme.
This EQA scheme will be offered twice annually.
Analyte(s) of the EQA scheme:
Detection of bacteria, viruses, and yeasts associated with meningitis/encephalitis.
Material:
– 2 samples, lyophilized material.
Registration:
Registration is via your participant account at www.rfb.bio.

Registration deadline: 14 September 2026
Sample dispatch: 20 October 2026
Test period: 26 October – 7 November 2026
