Responsibility for the environment and science

The transmission of results and the analyses of our proficiency tests are carried out completely online. The certificates and individual analyses are also available digitally for retrieval. These digital processes allow us to avoid unnecessary printouts and reduce shipping material – this saves paper, shortens distances and increases transparency for our participants. In this way, we combine scientific quality with an active contribution to environmental protection in bioanalysis.

Sustainability starts on a small scale: We consistently separate waste, use energy-saving appliances and rely on reusable materials. This conscious attitude characterises our day-to-day work – because real change comes from consistent action, not big words.

We rely on the DHL GoGreen Plus programme for almost all shipments – and thus make an active contribution to reducing transport emissions through the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

The GoGreen Plus certificate 2024 confirms our contribution to reducing emissions in air transport. The fuels we use come exclusively from certified, sustainable sources – free from palm oil and palm fatty acid distillate (PFAD).

In this way, we ensure that our shipping is also in line with our environmental values.

Our packaging is recyclable, resource-saving and – where possible – reusable. We make sure that we only use as much material as is really necessary. For us, sustainability also means taking responsibility throughout the entire process – from the laboratory to dispatch.
