According to RiLi-BÄK, certain laboratory analyses are subject to EQA-Scheme testing – this means that laboratories must regularly, usually four times a year, successfully participate in corresponding EQA-Schemes.
The analytes subject to ring testing include, for example:
- Clinical-chemical parameters: Glucose, creatinine, urea, cholesterol
- Electrolytes: sodium, potassium, calcium
- Haematological parameters: Haemoglobin, haematocrit, erythrocyte and thrombocyte count
- Coagulation parameters: INR, aPTT
- Serological parameters: Hepatitis markers, HIV, blood grouping
The current regulations are regularly published in the Federal Gazette and can be found in the RiLi-BÄK Part B.
